a custom 2-day professional Development event

The BlendEd Symposium aims to share and explore best practices for blended/online teaching and learning, provide opportunities for hands-on curriculum development, facilitate fruitful collaboration, and promote professional growth and community. See below for program highlights and other details. This PD experience is open to educators at Consortium-member and non-member peer schools.

    Educurious is a nonprofit, education change-maker whose approach to project-based curriculum is well known for energizing students with ideas that matter and connecting learners with a global network of subject matter experts and mentors.

REGISTRATION

To register, simply complete our form by Friday 5/31. We will send out a confirmation message with additional information by Monday 6/3.

CONSORTIUM PARTICIPANTS: This event is free for participants from BlendEd member schools and teachers are eligible for a daily PD stipend. Check with your BlendEd Coordinator for stipend details.

NON-CONSORTIUM PARTICIPANTS: Registration for external participants is $200/day (which covers breakfast and lunch + speaker fees + etc.).  After completing the registration form, please send a check, made payable to College Prep School with Memo: BlendEd Symposium Registration, to:

LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION

The Symposium is taking place on College Prep’s welcoming, verdant campus at 6100 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94618.

Parking in the school lot is available on a first come, first served basis and should be plentiful at this time of year. Please do not park on Brookside Avenue. The Rockridge Bart station is a lovely 17-minute walk or a quick Lyft/Uber ride away. There is also bike parking available on campus.

MEALS/REFRESHMENTS

Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.
