About the BE+GOA Fall 2025 Partnership Pilot

The BlendEd Consortium and Global Online Academy joined forces in 2025 to offer 5 in-demand courses taught by GOA instructors with Local Enrichment Guides from BlendEd schools, facilitating virtual and in-person sessions to enhance the learning journey for local cohorts of BE students. It was exciting to pilot electives that blend the best of both of our approaches!

BE+GOA Pilot FAQ

The mission of GOA is to reimagine learning to empower students and educators to thrive in a globally networked society. We deepen learning through courses that equip students with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to be successful in high school, college, career, and life. By banding together as a consortium, GOA member schools are able to offer far more courses than any single school could offer on its own.

BE+GOA course offerings are UC-approved to fulfill the “G” (elective) requirement. Some may fulfill one of the “A-F” subject-specific requirements. These courses will be included in your regular school transcript.

BE+GOA courses are taught by GOA instructors along with Local Enrichment Guides from BE schools who facilitate virtual and in-person sessions for local BlendEd students. The BlendEd cohort of students in the GOA class will meet face-to-face (F2F) in-person between one to three times, as well as every other week via all-class and small group virtual sessions. Students access the class via the GOA’s Canvas instance.

Students from BlendEd member schools can request one of these courses via their school’s regular add/drop process. Please contact your school’s BlendEd Coordinator or the BlendEd Director if you have any other questions.
